By building an online community, keeping high engagement

I will post personal finance content daily until the social media accounts’ following grows and I can hire a freelance social media manager/content creator. Also, I will build up my online following with relevant pages, start liking and commenting under financial based content. I will also create a group on Instagram where I can share new content directly to any subscribers of my company’s instagram account and even offer personalized tips.

This cost is based on if I were to hire a social media manager/content creator. There are no costs direct costs for building a following organically. According to Fiverr sellers the cost can range from $230 to $2,000 per month. So I will take the median cost of ($1,115 per month) to determine my annual cost for social media marketing using a freelancer.

Note: This is not for paid advertising.

1) To eventually have a full time social media manager/content creator actively working to build the brand.
2) To gain 6,000 followers in 12 months which means getting about 125 new followers weekly. It is necessary in order to increase engagement.
3) Since I will create 4 social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tik Tok. I expect to gain 4 followers/potential customers or 1 new follower per account each day.
4) I intend on getting engagement of 100,000 within the first year and half in business. That is, total number of likes, comments, shares and saves of 100,000 across all platforms.
5) In intend on doing email marketing weekly with app updates and personal finance tips.

Customer support/Sales

Utilize Zendesk in order to have chatbots answer common questions customers may have. In addition I will hire a customer support agent to deal with queries in real time. I will use Zendesk’s platform for tracking sales as well.

I will have KPIs for the employee to follow to ensure the right prompts are used in every interaction to gain that customer satisfaction.

The Zendesk subscription costs $89 per month or $1,068 per year for use by only one agent. I will also pay the customer support agent a bit above the minimum wage rate since it is increasing in April. So I will pay the agent $17.65 per hour at 40 hours a week. Or on call, based on arrangement with employee. Annual salary of $34,000. In addition, I will implement the sales platform from Zendesk, which costs $19 per month or $228 per year. The agent hired for customer support will also be in charge of sales as such I will arrange for a 30% commission based on their overall sales.

1) I am aiming to reach a BBB rating of 4.5/5 for having the reliable customer support agent respond to customers to reduce complaints.
2) I want to make sales of at least $100,000 in my first year and a half of operations.
3) I want to attain 100% satisfaction rate with customers that contact customer support through getting feedback for each interaction.

Customer referral/loyalty program

The customer referral program will be implemented by promoting to the schools, a referral code I can use to track number of referrals. Based on the number of users attained through referrals, I will be able to give the schools a discount off their subscriptions. I will also hold giveaways with gift cards and other finance products through sponsorship from partners like Banks etc. to offer new users.

The referral program cost is yet to be determined since it will be based on the number of referrals done. So the discount amount will be the cost as well as the promotional costs which are not yet decided since no promotional plan has been made yet. Each new customer/user referral will have a $ value associated with it which will be considered when giving the schools a discount. The more users they subscribe the higher the % off the school will get. As for students/users they will be offered an incentive/bonus amount of money the more referrals are done to help grow the brand and notify others of our offerings.

1) To gain 5 referrals per user as well as 50 referrals per school per month.
2) To reduce the cost of marketing through having the referral program where users promote the app.
