My goal is to find me creative voice, present it in a portfolio and an advertisement campaign.
Because I already have a portfolio and a website, I believe step one would now be to network with people in the fashion industry in Toronto and Montreal and Ottawa to get to know more photographers, model agencies, designers, makeup artists, etc., to collaborate with in finding my creative voice and refining my portfolio.

Once I have cultivated a solid network of people to work with I will go on to target specific magazines that I want my work to be featured in, because published work is more reputable. From a branding perspective, it is important that the stories that these magazines are telling align with my (developing) styling aesthetic, and that of the photographer too.

Step three would be to coordinate at least three photo shoots to be submitted to three different magazines. This involves securing a photographer then discussing the vision and story for each shoot, then finding models, make up artist(s), locations, all while researching clothing for the shoots.

In the process of all this I still want to continue attending events and workshops and all those kinds of things to continue to get to know people and grow my network more and more.

Next step would be photographing the photo shoots.

Upon publication we would then send out each editorial to the designers involved hoping that they love it and they want to continue to work with me and really foster a professional relationship that will take me into potentially styling a campaign for them in the near future.

I should add that another goal of mine is to take my business more seriously in terms of just financially I want to get a credit card specifically for my business when borrowing from designers and department stores so that I can write it off as a business expense when it comes time to register my business officially as a small business.

Decide on which kind of sandwich you’d like to make, whether it’d be a grilled cheese or a foot-long sub. Make sure it’s not one you can have an allergic reaction towards.

Get the necessary ingredients depending on the type of sandwich you want. Example: for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you’ll need at least two slices of bread, peanut butter, and jelly of any flavor.

Enroll in the enterprising youth program to get support, a sense of guidance, and connection with a mentor. This is also help me apply for a low interest 10,000 loan when I’m ready to launch.

Enroll in wheable for free classes related to your goal. In woodworking, I will try to teach myself some skills and see if I can build my own hive. From online research, this is the least expensive way to grow an apiary and I want to start learning now. Also, another class that I am taking is a computer and media class. They will teach me how to use basic programs that are needed when running a small business (like excel) and also will learn how to make my own small buisness website under guidance. I don’t expect perfection, but over the years I want to learn and run independently if I can without the need to buy inflated premade hives and to hire a graphic designer.

Network and reach out to local Apiary small business owners. See if I can find part-time work or a personal mentor to learn through shadowing. Such a inexpensive and awesome way to learn from an owner that has made mistakes in the past (ones which I can avoid with their guidance).

Apply for the commercial apiary program and work hard for success in that.

Work a year or two in the field observing, and learning to be a skilled tradeperson and savy entrepeneur.

I have only ever done small projects on my machine, and committed to my hand sewn projects.

Purchase an industrial sewing machine. I already know that I will need something that has a needle/foot with the ability to lift high enough to not damage the machine, or timing of the needle.
This has been one of my biggest hurdles, and forced me to do designs entirely by hand.
Handcrafting can be used for embellishments, connecting pieces (ears, arms, paws, etc..), but for some fabric linings there will require a bit of machine work to achieve the most pleasant hidden seams. This will also exponentially speed up the process.
It is important for me to be clean, and proud in my work like my mothers before me.

Decide on an aesthetic, for my website or account. This might require finally settling on a name. “Juvenile(s)” is most likely my choice. I have confirmed there are no recorded companies sharing a name with me locally, through the government’s database.
As far as my ‘look/aesthetic’; The photos taken of each hood must be well marketed as well.
I will need to find:

Research some fabric suppliers.
I would prefer if this was local, or at least within the nation as shipping costs can get quite high due to the weight of bulk fabric purchases.
I generally only need 2×2 meters of a fabric sheet, sometimes 2, and several feet of trim/strips per hood.
(Depending on design, shipping from afar can be allowed for a few meters of fabric, but it will probably never work logistically as a long term supply route.)
Although it will be easily accessible, it is also worth mentioning that is it not an economic option to choose faux fur.
Backing this fact up is an environmental study from 2016 completed and published by Environmental Science & Technology which states;
“We have found that when you wash a synthetic jacket, it can release an average of 1,174 milligrams of microfibers. And, whatever isn’t filtered out by wastewater treatment plants can end up in waterways, and lead aquatic animals to ingest them.
Many designers, like London-based footwear label Mou, have taken the stance that real fur is a more sustainable option than faux fur because the synthetic is a “non-biodegradable pollutant.” Mou founder Shelley Tichborne says that the faux fabrics don’t “breathe” like natural materials, and that causes unpleasant smells and shortens the product’s lifespan.”
On top of even these facts, small & big game hunting and it’s documentation, is a very important role for many aboriginal communities. Using my traditional knowledge, and the blessing of the connections I have due to my culture, obtaining true furs that have been ethically and ceremoniously gathered may be the smartest route for sustainability and moral purposes, while leaving the occasional option for those with vegan lifestyles.

The first step to making a pallet-based raised bed is to source the necessary tools and resources. This means ensuring access to appropriate saws, nails, screws, screw drivers, hammers, staple(s)/gun, soil, and of course pallets. Plus any additional resources such as a vehicle to pick-up and transport pallets or other equipment.

While this may seem intuitive, it is important to go over all of the design steps with your construction team before commencing. When everyone knows each step, and they know how their part fits along the assembly line, construction may begin.

Now that all necessary materials are present and the build team knows what to do, each necessary measurement along the pallets should be made and marked. As this is part of preparation, necessary arrangements for soil may be made.

Next, all of the necessary cuts to the pallet must be made. Some of these will be along pre-drawn lines, other may not be.

The next step is to reinforce the structure backing with pieces removed from the pallet during the cutting phase.

Now that each structure piece is complete, they should all be attached to one another to form the square bed shape.

Clean your chicken :
Wash the chicken with a lemon or 2
Do a second wash with some vinegar
Dry the remaining water off the chicken with a paper towel

Cutting:
Cut the chicken to your desired size and shape depending how fancy you would like to get

Season:
Thoroughly season the chicken with powder seasons like jerk , chicken ,all purpose, garlic and add 2 tablespoons of curry

Cut up your onions, thyme , garlic, scallions and primento and mix well with the chicken

After the pots hot add your oil
When the oil gets hot add 1 tablespoon of curry powder and stir

Get two slices of bread & put them on a plate.

Chop up lettuce, tomato, pickles & onion. Place them on the left side of the bread in the order was written on top.

Get mayo, salt, half a lemon, a bit of pepper & place it in a bowl

Starting my business ! from my research and what I’ve been through my toughest issue has been the start getting my business off the ground then once you start being prepared for potential business that comes my way go hand in hand .

Putting out great work !
Once I’m prepared and started now I have to make sure customer satisfaction is being accomplished make sure vehicles are going back to the customer spotless taking your time to do it right .

My third step would be now to start marketing right away within first months of operation by having pop up events at local established businesses which will consist of a quick exterior washes for cheap price most of the time customers will leave a tip up to them just to give potential customers a test of the service for cheap price providing them with cards and maybe discounts to gain business sorta like a meet and greet .

At this point I’m started,prepared,marketing now would be time to make sure I obtain my ceramic coating certification to really boost revenue.

This will be a good achievement my fifth step would be to obtain a shop that I have applied for but put on hold to pay it safe but by fall when weather changes obtaining a shop would be the perfect situation so I can continue to make revenue in colder months when vehicles are more dirty .

Working hard to reach my 2-3 vehicles per day for 5 or 6 day a week at $150 average in a year that will average out to $100,000 or so . That means that advertisements and marketing doesn’t stop.

At step seven I’ve checked every box and now reached my goal now maintain what I have and make sure after I make the revenue I take care of the business side of business .

This should be my fun step to set back and reflect on my last 12 or 24 months to see were I came from and were I’m heading being thankful for what I achieved and accomplished .
